The Monochrome Set: Strange Boutique (1980) Love Zombies (1980) Eligible Bachelors (1982) The Lost Weekend (1985) Fin (1985)

Anybody who has read my previous posts on The Monochrome Set will know the high esteem in which I hold them. Close to perfection in my book. Here is a repost of The Monochrome Set LPs that have previously appeared on Burning Aquarium.

 Strange Boutique (1980)

Love Zombies (1980)

Eligible Bachelors (1982)

 The Lost Weekend(1985)
Fin (Live-1985) - later rereleased as The Good Life

  2. Hi, are these in FLAC? Or are they the same files you posted first time around? Thanks for showing me such a fantastic band!

  3. One more question: do the original LPs come with the lyrics? They're simply amazing!

  4. These are lossless CD rips. There were never any lyrics in the liners as far as I can recall- but there's a few here: http://www.leoslyrics.com/monochrome-set-lyrics/
    Great band, aren't they?

    1. They are, indeed, and I thank you for showing me that! Please, forgive me, I don't mean to be a nuisance, but are you sure these are lossless? I followed the link to Eligible Bachelors, and Megashares displayed a file size of 68 something MB, which is actually smaller than the mp3 file I downloaded here first time around...

  5. oops, my mistake. Looks like I uploaded them as mp3. Probably 320. I'll sort out some lossless in the near future. Just a matter of uploading again!

    1. That would be great, thanks! I wish I could find the records (at least the first three), but they've never been released in my country, and I don't think they ever will, unfortunately. Lossless files are the next best thing, then. Look forward to it!

  6. Thank you SO MUCH for all of these! I used to have a used and really scratched up CD of Love Zombies--but now I can hear that album (without all the skips/scratches) and their others thanks to you! Thank you, very much!
