  1. Yo man (false American), Walker. A rapid turn-around indeed! Let's try a free request spot for your good self and all those out there .. punk (tons), ska(tons), jazz blues (megatons) .. go for it and let's see if we're live ..

    Cheers, Dave Sez.

  2. And as an afterthought, it would be easier for me to keep up with comments and requests in my dozen or so posts so far (and to pile on more) if you could include me in the reference terms of the site (right-hand bar) .. if it's OK with you, I'd suggest 0 Dave Sez - rarities, or Dave Sez, or whatever you will. Cheers ...

  4. Just keep the comments coming Dave.
I'm not going to make any structural changes to Burning Aquarium, and i'm not going to re label every post you comment on, but if you'd prefer to compile links and e mail them to me rather than posting them in comments I'll give you a fortnightly post dedicated to Dave Sez Updates or something like that?
    Its theburningaquarium@hotmail.com
    Thanks for your contributions!

  5. Hi Walker, and thanks again for your hospitality. I quite understand the reluctance to relabel posts, a real fag, so let's stick with me adding links in comments to your posts when I think readers or your good self would like more stuff. Thanks too for the email address, I'll be getting back to you there, but for the meanwhile, the latest of your posts to be expanded is this one:

  9. The above Crass post has just been expanded again to include five Crass singles (I forgot to mention Reality Asylum/Shaved Women - 1979 on the list) plus several Schwarzeneggar links. At the same time, I've also added to this post:

    Cheers, Dave Sez.

  11. The above Crass post has just been expanded again ... semantics- the links in the comments are appreciated- the post however remains- the work of ripping, uploading, finding an image, writing the text...the comments compliment the post, but they do not expand it.

  12. Apologies for sloppy semantics, Walker, and far be it from me to detract in any way from the hard work you bloggers put into posting. It's sad to see so many great blogs closing down due to lack of feedback from readers - in adding further links, my hope is only to return the gift, compliment the posters and complement their posts ;-),

To continue, yesterday's trawling brought up two things I have been looking for for ages: a good-quality gig from the Ruts and (at last!), the "I Need A New Adventure" bootleg of outtakes from Television's second album. Find them here:

    http://burningaquarium.blogspot.com/2009/04/television-double-exposure-1974-75.html

Hope you like them. Cheers, Dave Sez.

  13. It must be the summer (or the volcanic ash) in the air, but the tooth fairy came to call again with another of my absolute top longterm wants - the strictly limited and now out-of-print official 2005 recording of the Gang of Four gig at the Barbican in London, when the group played every track from Entertainment except Contract. As the live equivalent of the Return the Gift CD, an essential item for Go4 fans.

Find it in the comments here:
